IT Application Development Manager -- Remote

The Role:

We are transforming technology and creating a digital evolution that will empower Centene to better serve our members. As Manager you will be managing an IT application development team, personnel management, project management and status reporting, working with product organization concerning work identification and prioritization.

As Manager, you will:

Manage department staff including hiring, performance management and career development to ensure alignment with defined goals.

• Plan and direct the daily activities of a team focused on a particular system or technology.• Liaison with managers in IT and other functions, applying standard solutions and processes.• Apply specific technical expertise in depth to address technical and business issues.

Additionally you will bring:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field or equivalent experience.

5+ years of related IT experience.

Previous experience as a lead in a functional area, managing cross functional teams on large scale projects or supervisory experience including hiring, training, assigning work and managing the performance of staff.

Preferred Skills:

Management of IT application development teams that handles data analytics as well as data integrity initiatives.

Familiarization of skill set on team which includes Java full stack, ETL tools Informatica and Talend, and Reporting tools MicroStrategy and Tableau.
