About the Team
You'll be part of the IT Product Management team, which directly supports our business partners with their technology needs, strategic planning, and day-to-day use of our core business applications. The team is composed of IT Product Managers, Business Analyst, and Data Analyst, all working together to deliver projects, enhancements, and process improvements.
About the Role
As a Data/Business Analyst, you will be working on cross-functional technology teams to deliver projects, enhancements, and changes to our key business partners. Your role will be to ensure we capture the problems and opportunities, document the business and data requirements, and work with the IT Delivery Teams to execute on the scope. Additionally, we will support ad-hoc requests for reporting and analytics.
In this role, you will:

• Work collaboratively in a cross functional diverse team of business stakeholders, IT partners, data analysts and data engineers
• Work directly with customers to understand reporting and analytics needs and objectives, gather requirements and use cases
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT partners, data engineering and other data analysts to deliver data driven solutions
• Use automated tools to extract data from business applications (eg Salesforce) and Data lakes (eg Snowflake)
• Prepare dashboards for management stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data
• Propose and support Operational improvements to ensure Rapid7's data is of the highest quality
