Job Description
Reporting to the Sourcing and Procurement Director, the IT Sourcing Manager is a new role at Bungie supporting the enterprise. This role will be responsible for defining and implementing the Sourcing infrastructure including strategies and best practices for Bungie. The Sourcing Manager will have expertise in the category of IT including IT software and hardware agreements, IT peripherals and all other IT related purchases.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive the implement best in class Sourcing functions at Bungie
- Partner with the Director to formulate and drive Sourcing strategies specific to Bungie
- Develops and implements KPI’s and key metrics to deliver cost savings
- Analyzing and calculating procurement costs and developing cost reduction strategies.
- Driving purchasing decisions based on cost and scenario analysis, as well as market trends.
- Negotiating contracts with key suppliers, including costs and terms of supply, service, and quality
- Develop and implement best in class bidding process
- Collaborating with the procurement and key stakeholders to identify and pursue new supplier opportunities
- Conducting market research, as well as creating cost estimates and forecasts
- Hiring, train, and manage Sourcing department FTE’s
- Estimating risks and applying risk minimizing techniques, as well as negotiating contracts that comply with industry regulations
- Maintaining strategic sourcing relationships and developing strong partnerships
- Partner with internal stakeholders to implement Workday Sourcing functionality
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, Logistics, Supply Chain or equivalent experience
- 7-10 years of Sourcing experience​
- Has a proven track record of cost savings
- Has the ability to integrate new Sourcing best practices through influence and relationships​
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in sourcing software (Workday preferred)
- Exceptional ability to collaborate and negotiate business terms
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities
- Willingness to travel, as needed, to develop, promote, and maintain strategic sourcing relationships

- Has worked in the video game industry
- Has Workday experience

- 20 days of accrued time-off in the form of PTO and sabbatical days, depending on the level of the position
