The Opportunity

Tasks: Identify and manage existing and emerging risks that stem from business activities and the job role. Ensure risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled. Follow written risk and compliance policies and procedures for business activities. Serve as a SME for business topics for multiple IT delivery functions. Serve as a conduit between IT delivery functions and the business functions through which their technical requirements flow. Employ creativity, ingenuity, and innovation in the search for technology solutions designed to support analyses and business need. Communicate and collaborate with customers on the analysis of business needs and requirements to deliver solution artifacts as needed. Lead analysis and verification of technical requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformance to standards. Lead traceability of approved and base lined artifacts through the software development life cycle to include specifications, design, development, testing, implementation, and defect prioritization. Provide guidance and review of test artifacts to ensure coverage of testable requirements. Provide certification and actively participate in defect management activities to confirm requirements are being met. Contribute to project successes by partnering with Program Management to understand program plans and strategy.

Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field followed by 8 years of progressive post-baccalaureate work experience in the job offered or in a project management, business/system, or technical analysis-related occupation. Position requires:

  • Software delivery life cycles: Waterfall, Kanban, Agile, and SaFe Agile;
  • Modeling techniques (UML) and use case development;
  • Multiple software development frameworks;
  • Data Analysis using R;
  • Creation of Business Case document, Product description document, and Strategic and Tactical Roadmaps;
  • Creation of User Stories for agile projects, Requirement's specification documents for waterfall projects, Sequence Diagrams, and Process Flow Diagrams;
  • Creation of Technical Stories to include APIs, DBs, Configurations, Security, Performance, Monitoring, and other such enabler Feature functionalities;
  • Epics and Features write-ups and decompositions;
  • Designing & Development of applications;
  • HAL and ALIP;
  • Digital Acquisition systems - Self-service and guided selling;
  • Electronic Medical Records (EMR);
  • EHR applications;
  • Laboratory Information Systems (LIS);
  • Claims adjudication system, Public and Private insurance exchanges;
  • Jira, qTest, SQL, Client Postman, Visio, Rational Rose, Mumps, Tableau, and Confluence; and
  • Intersystem's cache and Ensemble.
