As a Raytheon Technologies Enterprise Change Manager, you will be accountable for the end-to-end management of Change Operations supporting global stakeholders and multiple Business units. You will be working with a variety of stakeholders ensuring overall adherence to change standards within a business unit. You will also be performing proactive change data quality samplings and education change assignees according to the Change Standards.

The IT Change Manager is responsible for managing the lifecycle of all technology changes being made with minimal disruption to the business while ensuring alignment with strategic goals for the organization and IT department. This is an integral job function within the Information Technology department which ensures the overall workflow of operational and project-based change requests are organized, managed, evaluated, approved, documented, and communicated appropriately with respective resources and stakeholders.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day activities for all task items including but not limited to organizing and managing meetings, requirements gathering, calendars, schedules, testing, training stakeholders and drive to conclusion and implementation of all outstanding items on an ongoing basis

Report work status on a weekly basis and communicate to the key project participants and interested parties.

Ensuring overall adherence to the Change Standards within a Business Unit

Ensuring proper running of Change Advisory Boards (CABs), failed change review calls and effective change calls

Providing guidance and advice about the Change Management process to the local change community

Ensuring compliance with Change Management operational procedures

Performing proactive change data quality samplings and educate change assignees according to RTX Change Standards

Implementing process improvements to meet a satisfactory or mature rating for Change Management KPI

Project management skillsets with the ability to support special assignments

Assess current training needs and documentation that drives consistency

Create overall service management training calendar

Assist in training facilitation while working with content owners

Create and assist in maintaining document repository

Responsible for holistically understanding both the business and technical aspects of the ServiceNow platform modules

Responsible for documenting detailed current and future state process, system workflows and requirement details

Preferred Qualifications

Three years' experience in information technology, application development and infrastructure support including ITIL Change/Release Management

Two - Four years of experience with ITSM tool ServiceNow - specifically reporting and querying data, understanding configuration management and how it pertains to Change

Five plus years of experience in leading teams through change and delivering outcomes

ITILv4 certified (preferred)

Thorough understanding of Agile and DevOps practices

Skills that will help you in the role:

Ability to access the environments processes, identify areas of improvements needed, develop transformation plans that are task driven and resource loaded

Ability to manage matrix employees that include, government and contractors, Senior level leadership and IT Technical staff that are needed to effect change

Must have strong oral, written and communication skills and demonstrate a positive customer experience at all times

Education:

Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 7 years prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
