Position Summary

Caribou Thunder is seeking a skilled and experienced Java Software Developer to support a national defense contract. As a Software Developer, you will work on-site to develop and maintain custom applications while integrating commercial and government capabilities into Department of Defense (DoD) products. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to critical defense projects and work with cutting-edge technologies in an Agile DevSecOps team environment.

Complete Description

• Develop and maintain full-stack Java-based applications for a national defense contract.
• Repackage code to ensure compatibility with different environments.
• Collaborate effectively within an Agile DevSecOps team environment.
• Provide test support when necessary.

Minimum Requirements

• Proficiency in Java and object-oriented design and programming.
• Experience as a full-stack developer.
• Experience developing software using object-oriented programming languages such as Visual Studio, C#/.NET, NodeJS, JavaScript/Typescript.
• Experience in web application design and development using technologies such as Angular, ASP.NET Core, React, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML5.
• Familiarity with unit testing.

Preferred Requirements

• Experience in the defense industry or supporting DoD projects.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and methodologies.
• Experience with cloud technologies and platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
