Join us as an Atlassian/JIRA administrator-developer on our Engineering Operations team. This will be a US remote position.
What you will do
In this role you will support and maintain the Atlassian family of products - JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket and others. In addition to Jira administration, this role is also expected to contribute to supporting the tooling for engineering analytics.
You will:

• Own configuration, maintenance, administration & support of Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Jira Service Desk)
• Administer JIRA projects, creating complex workflows, screen schemes, permission schemes, and notification schemes in automating end-to-end request process
• Develop and implement Confluence and Jira Applications, Workflows and scripts with a strong emphasis on usability, component reusability, security, and leverage various marketplace components.
• Implement project reporting capabilities including Dashboards inside the Atlassian platform: Kanban, Scrum boards, documentation templates. Develop metrics, dashboards, and advanced filters in JIRA/Report AIO/Confluence to provide end-users and business leadership with meaningful operational/performance metrics and status reports.
• Serve as the primary advocate and Subject Matter Expert for Atlassian at Boomi.
• Propose system improvements and determine ways to optimize process, functionality and performance. Gather requirements, propose solutions, prepare status reports, and develop roadmap presentations.
• Design, architect, deploy, integrate, improve, troubleshoot and support scalable development, test and production environments running various Atlassian components such as JIRA, Bitbucket, and Confluence.
• Support the data analysis needs of the Engineering teams' strategic and operational projects, these include Metrics like velocity, quality, productivity using Jira queries or dashboards.

What you'll need to succeed in this role

• 5+ years of experience in configuration, administration and maintenance of Jira, Confluence, and Service Management, in a technology or a high growth SaaS product development company preferred.
• Experience customizing Jira projects with various schemes, complex workflows, screen schemes, permission schemes and notification schemes.
• Strong JQL knowledge and experience customizing workflows, setting up dashboards, and generating reports
• Ability to write scripts to automate and customize Jira, including scheduling and resource loading.
• Ability to write scripts to automate and customize Jira.
• Excellent problem solving skills, with an ability to recognize opportunities and develop ways of addressing them
• Strong communication skills and enthusiasm to help others.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to document and explain technical details clearly and concisely.

Additional experience desired

• Bachelor's of Science degree in Engineering or other related discipline
• Experience directly integrating Atlassian products with other systems is preferable. Exposure to data analytics tool like powerBI is desirable, but not a must
