CrowdStrike is looking for a highly motivated, self-driven, technical tooling Administrator dedicated to continuously improving product processes. You need to be competent with Linux, Java, Groovy & Scriptrunner. If you have experience with both Jira Data Center & Jira Cloud that would be a bonus!

The base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $95,000 - $140,000 per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits. What You'll Do:
- Coordinate with internal teams to identify technical requirements and potential problems, risk, dependencies, and solutions & and ensure deliverables are high quality and timely.
- Support in Global admin functions in Jira
- Configuring projects
- JQL query writing + support
- Workflows
- Screen schemes
- Field configuration schemes
- Permission scheme
- Notification schemes
- Utilize ScriptRunner to architected solutions and extend Jira functionality & develop code (Groovy, Python, Powershell, Javascript, HTML, etc) to interact with various application APIs.
- Perform the duties of a Jira engineer; responsible for in-application maintenance/optimization, administration, and enhancements to Jira and configure integrations with other tools or plugins.
- Clearly communicate user processes and technical features (ie. Documentation for reference, diagram, etc.)
Successful candidates must have quality experience in the following areas:
- Experience with Jira Data Center (Jira Cloud would be a nice bonus!)
- Creating Jira projects, workflows, issue types, custom fields, screens, and schemes
- Leveraging Atlassian's REST API
- A solid understanding of Atlassian infrastructure and how plugins, integrations and user interaction can impact the system
- Networking and Troubleshooting basics
- A deep understanding of how to use Scriptrunner
- Programming/Scripting: experience coding in Java, Groovy
- Ability to write complex custom scripts for jobs and listeners, leveraging the script console to perform large admin functions.
- Experience developing plugins and gadgets that extend the Jira capabilities using Atlassian Plugin SDK is a plus
- Bonus language experience in Python, Perl, or Ruby on Rails
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle; with an understanding of Agile Kanban/Scrum
What You'll Need:
- 3+ years of experience with Jira Global administration and customization
- 2+ years experience in Programming/Scripting: Java/Groovy
- Demonstrate self-learning capabilities, taking initiative in a fast pace/quickly changing environment.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on downstream effects of work
- Must enjoy consensus-driven environments where collaboration, honest and open communications are paramount (to include giving and receiving feedback)
- Must work effectively and professionally with cross-functional groups across divisions, worldwide, as part of a team.
- Must exhibit meticulous attention to detail, and have the ability to make logical, timely decisions.
- Excel with proactively and independently driving for results in small team environments.
