Jr Staff Accountant

Ziglift Material Handling, one of the nation’s fastest growing Material Handling Integrators, has an immediate opening for an experienced, and driven Junior Staff Accountant to join our Finance Team. Ziglift has an expanding nationwide presence with seven locations in five states and is looking for a key individual to support our continued growth. This key role will be responsible for all Accounts Receivable functions, on boarding new customers, reviewing credit, creating SOVs (Schedules of Values) for Milestone Billings and Payment Terms, managing Sales Taxes including customer sales tax exemptions and working with Avalara to collect, remit and report sales taxes. They may also assist with selected GL Account Reconciliations, Posting of Journal Entries and preparation and analytical review of Financial Reports. This position will report directly to the Director of Finance. Key Responsibilities: • Generate Weekly AR Aging Reports by Customer, Job Status and Sales Rep for Sr. Management, and use as the basis for Daily Collections Calls and Notes • Post Daily Cash Receipts and ACH / Wire Transfers • Investigate, Resolve and Respond to all external & internal Customer Billing Inquiries • Review Customer Credit using D&B, recommend and maintain customer credit limits • Create SOVs (Schedule of Values) identifying Milestone Billings and Terms by Project • Maintain Customer Sales Tax Exemptions in Avalara • Assist with Monthly Avalara Multi-State Sales Tax Filings and Reconciliations Qualifications and Skills • Billings & Collections Experience is Required • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or finance is preferred • Knowledge of NetSuite Billings & Cash Collections Process and the Billings to Collections Cycles is Preferred, QuickBooks would be a plus • Prior Construction Experience is a Plus • The ability to prioritize and manage in a fast-paced work environment • Ability to communicate with all levels of company & customer management • The ability to multi-task and work independently • Proficient with Excel (VLOOKUP’s and pivot tables) • General understanding of Multistate Sales Taxes is a plus • Have the ability to develop and nurture business relationships with internal and external customers • The ability to be organized and have a keen eye for detail to spot irregularities Job Type: Full-time Pay: $68,640 - $72,000 per year Benefits • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Health Insurance • Dental Insurance • Vision Insurance • Life Insurance • Voluntary Plans Schedule · 8 hour shift · Monday to Friday Ziglift Material Handling is the industry’s leading expert in smart integrated warehouse storage solutions.
