Jr. Data Engineer Intern (Summer 2024, Hybrid)

Boomi is looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst Intern to join our team for the summer of 2024. Candidates must be able to commit to 3 days per week in person, in Boomi’s Conshohocken, PA office for the duration of the internship (5/20/2024 - 8/9/2024).

How You’ll Make An Impact

As Business Intelligence Analyst at Boomi reporting to our Sr, Director, IT Data Management, you will help drive efforts around data management and analytics. You will work with our internal Lead Data Architect on a Data Ingestion and Finance project, focused on our ability to provide forecast and planning data to our internal customers.

What You’ll Do

• Define new data source requirements
• Set up ETL (Extract/Transform/Load) processes
• Manage Schedules for data updates
• Define Finance Forecast dimensions and measures
• Work with the end users on User Assigned Testing and Signoff
• Identify hurdles, roadblocks or gaps in the process
• Provide a readout of success variables and production needs

The Experience You Bring

• Currently Pursuing a Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science or similar discipline
• Experience with Data Warehousing, ETL, SQL (Snowflake, DBT a plus)
• Ability to think about problems analytically with a data first approach
• Experience gathering requirements and preparing a scope of work
