As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for being the liaison between local accountants and corporate in all accounting matters. You will also be responsible for general accounting duties such as bookkeeping, invoice generation, accounts receivable and payable management, bank reconciliations and any other accounting matters as directed by the company.
You are- Good with numbers. You love numbers and have a burning desire to work with them every day.
- Self-motivated. You self-motivate easily and work well independently, yet still love to collaborate with a team.
- Tech-savvy. You are familiar with accounting systems, proficient in Excel and are even better about Googling functions in Excel (there are too many to remember off-hand).
- Detail-oriented. You get excited to reconcile accounts, post accounts payable and receivables, and verify the accuracy of accounting records.
- Get things done. Stay on top of your stuff and always keep records up-to-date.
- Experienced. You are experienced and confident to deliver. Ideally you will have 1+ years’ experience in a similar role.
- Multilingual. You speak fluent or professional level English and relevant local languages.Â
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders. You will work collaboratively with various departments, team members and stakeholders.
- Gain valuable experience. Continuously develop skills, personally and professionally.
- Take ownership. You will own your finance/accounting process and assist with improvements.Â
