Job Description:

In your position as a Junior Budget Analyst, you will support budget execution analytics for a Federal Client. You will be a part of a larger team supporting financial management efforts. You will also support:

• Budget execution analytics 
• Track, monitor and work with program offices to properly manage unliquidated obligations (ULO)
• Support monthly, quarterly and yearly ULO de-obligations, certifications and re-programming of funds
• Utilize reports and dashboard to identify trends, issues and recommend process improvements
• Support quarterly reports to upper management 

Required Skills:

• BA/BS Degree
• 3 years of relevant experience 
• Flexible and team player in a fast paced dynamic office environment 
• Proficient in MS Office 365, Excel and/or Power BI in handling data sets 
• Experience in using SharePoint housing larger data files 
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Excellent financials data analysis and reconciliation skills
• Willing to learn new applications and processes 

Desired Skills:

• Excellent Microsoft Access Database Query skills
