Junior Copywriter

At TANK, we consistently raise the bar of creativity with inspired work that delivers brand performance. We are looking for a healthcare copywriter who is passionate about creative ideation and thrives in a collaborative environment. 

Reporting to the Creative Director, the copywriter is responsible for creatively communicating medical ideas in interesting ways across branded and unbranded pieces.  

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: 

• Create and develop original, effective and interesting ideas and campaigns; 
• Adapt innovative concepts into finished copy for all mediums; 
• Write in a clear, concise and convincing manner – with attention paid to accuracy; 
• Work closely with art directors, account executives, a medical team, and production personnel to develop creative material that aligns with the voice of brand; 
• Possess a strong knowledge of agency/copy/editorial process, preferably with knowledge in annotating;
• Possess the confidence to present and defend ideas internally; 
• Provide work that is on strategy and reflects the brand.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: 

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline; 
• General understanding of Health industry regulations (PAAB, ASC, Legal, Medical); 
• Strong awareness of the power of communication and shows a proficiency to capitalize on it; 
• Driven by innovation and creativity; 
• Incorporates their exterior world to help find novel solutions;
• Effective communicator; 
• Detail oriented; 
• Builds collaborative relationships; 
• Curious by nature – fun, friendly and professional; 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and constant deadlines; 
• Proficient in writing and speaking English.
