Summary 

As Securly’s Junior Software Project Manager, you will plan, execute, and monitor software projects through fruition. Our products not only help keep students safe online but also save student lives. At Securly, we believe in a philosophy of "Enable Everyone". This role involves working cross-functionally with a team of engineers, architects, designers, and testers who build this safety net and execute the company's vision. 

This is remote role with the opportunity to work onsite in our Charlotte, NC office if desired

What You Will Do:

• Develop and manage project timelines, deliverables, and communication across assigned projects and ensure the appropriate resources are in place
• Work closely with engineering teams to deliver on all project scope of deliverables
• Ensure quality control and review deliverables prepared by the team
• Track project changes and their impact on the cost/timeframe of project delivery
• Create strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning
• Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately on the server
• Oversee and drive special projects as needed

Preferred Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

• 2+ years of project management experience, working closely with the engineering teams and management
• PMP or equivalent Project Management certification (Good to have)
• Ability to work with multiple teams and time zones (US, Mexico, India) 
• Skilled at managing stakeholder expectations
• Superior product roadmap timeline development and management skills
• Seasoned at managing multiple complex products simultaneously
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• A knack for unraveling complex problems and processes in an easy-to-understand way
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High energy and go-getter attitude; comfortable working autonomously
