The Knowledge Manager will establish and support Nordic-wide strategies, programs, and processes to standardize, optimize and innovate the way knowledge is codified, delivered, shared, stored, accessed and maintained across Nordic Global Companies, contributing to organizational growth and improved performance.
The Knowledge Manager will have the following key responsibilities, which include but are not limited to:
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, from leadership to consultants, in all business lines to co-develop and implement a multi-year knowledge management strategy and roadmap
- Program manage the execution of the strategy
- Influence, lead and coordinate cross-functional Knowledge "Communities of Practice" within the organization, consisting of area "champions" and others with program alignment and / or interest
- Manage and maintain Knowledge governance / ownership
- Manage and maintain taxonomy and content tagging approach, with standard formats / templates, for Knowledge collateral (proposals, methodologies, deliverables, qualifications / credentials / case studies, etc.)
- With Legal and other appropriate advisors, manage and maintain content management cycle
- Manage and maintain measurement categories to track uptake, monitor use and audit success of Knowledge program
- Influence, lead and coordinate representatives from adjacent areas (e.g. Learning, Talent, Client Partnerships, IT, Marketing, Communications) to engage in Knowledge enablement and program promotion
- Integrate new employees and any newly acquired companies into Knowledge program and services by connecting Knowledge Management program activities to Learning and Onboarding efforts to guide employees in effective adoption and use of Knowledge tools
- Work closely with aligned leaders as well as appropriate functions (e.g. Marketing, Thought Leadership, etc.) to elevate Nordic's branding and thought leadership, and support client development in strategic areas of focus
Skills and Experience
- Must demonstrate and embody Nordic's Maxims
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years leading Knowledge Management programs within a professional services organization; consulting organization background preferred
- Managed a successful knowledge management program at scale
- Experience in a cross functional, high growth environment
- Proven experience with business process improvement and content management initiatives
- Demonstrated success establishing rapport quickly and collaborating effectively within an organization
- Proven ability to work effectively with all levels of an organization, as well as with diverse candidates and consultants
- Track record of developing and successfully executing on plans thereby generating demonstrable, quantifiable value to the organization
- Experience in successfully managing complex projects
- Strong business acumen, problem solving skills and must be results oriented
- Ability to adapt quickly to changes in the work environment and to alter approach or method to successfully lead change
- Strong attention to detail as well as ability to adapt and manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
- Excellent listener with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills who can effectively communicate to all levels of an organization, including senior leadership
- Must be able to work independently to strategize, create and or implement a concept or idea, as well as within a team environment
- Researching skills competence with ability to identify best practice approach
- Preferred: experience in Knowledge Management programs that enable the successful integration of business units and organizations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products and other collaboration tools
