ADP is hiring a Lead Technical Program Manager for Accessibility.

As the Lead Technical Program Manager for Accessibility, you will partner with the hundreds of people within UX and thousands within Product Management, Engineering, and other organizations to help ADP deliver amazing and inclusive experiences to our hundreds of thousands of customers and tens of millions of users.
In this role, you will support the Head of Accessibility to lead the most strategy, cross-function initiatives to drive accessibility-forward products and services. You will also help to grow and lead a team of Accessibility Professionals to drive the planning, scheduling, coordination, and execution for complex business programs spanning multiple organizations to ensure we deliver the right solutions, with the right resources, in the right way, and at the right time.
You bring the ability to see the big picture and the small detail, creating order out of chaos to help the team. understand what to focus on, and when. You drive discussions forward to creating key decisions and actions and have a knack for working with people to help them follow through. We're looking for you to bring your experience leading programs in large product development organizations, where you understand how UX, Product Management, and Engineering work together to form cohesive, cross functional teams that conceptualize, design, develop, and deliver accessibility-forward products and services.

In support of the Head of Accessibility and broader Accessibility Team, whether you're in meetings with leadership or any of the teams in our Global Products & Technology organization, you'll be a guiding voice that helps us clarify ideas and strategy so we can understand where we're going and how we get there. You've worked with Agile teams and understand product delivery cycles and how to satisfy a diverse group of global stakeholders. You communicate progress, highlight risks, and remove roadblocks. WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Here's what you can expect on a typical day:

You effectively delegate as necessary and support each person in their unique accessibility journey.

  • Plan. You understand the needs of the business and work with cross-functional teams to guide in prioritizing, planning, and assigning work accordingly. You help everyone understand what success looks like and how we get there.
  • Drive. You thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-oriented, cross-functional environment and seek out the satisfaction of delivering real outcomes that help our users crush their jobs.
  • Evangelize. You will support and help to evangelize our accessibility philosophy, practices, and methodologies to educate and enable our teams to make accessibility part of their daily practice. You help everyone understand the 'why' before showing how we get there. You have a passion for coaching and mentoring and center the disability community and the user experience.
  • Collaborate. You understand how User Experience Researchers, Designers, Writers, and Design System experts interact with each other, product management, and engineering. You are adept at helping everyone understand the cross-functional teams' roles and responsibilities.
  • Partner. You partner and collaborate effectively across all UX and with Product Management, and Engineering to plan, execute, and remove roadblocks. You drive effective and efficient decision-making.
  • Facilitate Discussion. Your communication skills are vital to your success, whether in discussions with designers, engineers, product managers, or peers. You make your points succinctly and move the conversation forward to decisions and outcomes. You leverage data effectively and bring your own analysis of every situation to the conversation.
  • Experience. You have 3+ years of program management experience and at least 5 years of experience leading other project and program managers in a large-scale software development environment.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:
  • You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

The targeted base salary range for this role is listed in the compensation section below. Actual salary may be above or below this range based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. In addition, this position may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity, or commissions.

Compensation Range for US Nevada, Colorado & New York City residents: $80,600 - $206,000/ Year.
