Job Summary
The Lead Business Analyst - Customer Interaction role is within the Customer Interaction portfolio in the Digital Office and supports multiple customer lead management functions. The Lead Business Analyst oversees the business analysis activities throughout the Information Technology (IT) lifecycle. The Lead Business Analyst collaborates with business leadership to understand business strategies and capability needs and then works with Enterprise Architecture to develop technology roadmaps required to enable the appropriate IT strategies and capabilities. The Lead Business Analyst assesses incoming demand across the entire Customer Interaction portfolio and provides inputs and cost estimates to support project prioritization. The Lead Business Analyst establishes and utilizes a standardized process to define and monitor service levels for IT solutions, including external IT services. The Lead Business Analyst communicates business strategies and priorities to Digital Office stakeholders and communicates Digital Office strategies and priorities to business stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities• Oversee all business analysis activities across all projects in a portfolio and throughout all stages of the IT lifecycle. Ensure business analysis best practices are being applied and Harley-Davidson standards and processes are being adhered to.• Facilitate collaboration between the business and Digital Office that enables Digital Office to map business strategies and capabilities to IT capabilities and develop technology roadmaps that plan the transition from current state to future state.• Establish and utilize a service level management process to define and monitor service levels of all systems owned by the portfolio. When necessary, implement alternatives and actions to improve solution performance and increase value realization.• Meet with business owners of systems in the portfolio to understand how well the systems are supporting their capabilities. Lead the prioritization of defect fixes and enhancements and then manage the request for change process. Escalate incidents and problems with the operations team to ensure prompt attention and resolution.• Build and maintain strong relationships and rapport with business leadership, vendors, and Digital Office supporting teams. Communicate business strategies and priorities to Digital Office stakeholders and communicate Digital Office strategies and priorities to business stakeholders.• Manage one or more Sr. Business Analysts and Business Analysts across multiple projects, providing leadership and ensuring quality deliverables.• Lead department continuous improvement initiatives and best practice areas.• Maintain Application Portfolio Management (APM) data and ensure quality metric standards are met. The Lead Business Analyst works with the Portfolio Manager and Enterprise Architects to align business capabilities and suggest opportunities to for application rationalization.

Experience Requirements
Required• 8+ years of relevant technology and business process experience.• Deep understanding of multiple lines of business.• Expertise working with multiple software packages, platforms, or technologies.• Demonstrated business analysis leadership on multiple large-scale, complex projects from inception through project close-out.• Experience in all phases of the software development life cycle including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, implementation, and support.• Experience with agile or scrum project methodologies.• Experience leading, mentoring, and developing other business analysts.• Experience with CRM and lead collection / lead management solutions (e.g., Salesforce).
Preferred• Certification in Six Sigma, Lean, or any other process improvement methodology and demonstrated application of it to improve a business or IT process.• Mastery of all phases of the software development life cycle including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, implementation, and support.• Demonstrated experience with continuous improvement processes and tools such as Kaizen, flow charts, cause, and effect diagrams and pareto charts.• Knowledge and experience analyzing enterprise business strategies, capabilities, and processes and identifying IT capabilities that can enable them.• Working knowledge of ITIL or any other IT service management framework.• Demonstrated experience establishing service level agreements, monitoring service levels, and implementing system improvements.• PMI PBA, IIBA CBAP, or other relevant certification.• Experience with customer-facing / retail solutions (e.g., point-of-sale, ticketing, and lead collection).
