Lead Data Product Manager (Remote US)

Description

The Lead Data Product Manager will work within the EOE Business Intelligence team. EOE Business Intelligence is an Enterprise Shared Services team focused on data, reporting and data science supporting Humana's Service Operations. The team is focused on converting data to actionable insights for our business partners who can utilize the same, to reduce administrative cost and improve the customer's experience.

Responsibilities

The Lead Data Product Manager is responsible for collaborating with other product managers to identify data needs by leveraging the data flow throughout an entire product lifecycle and documenting the data requirements for each capability. This role will work on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.

The business needs captured for each capability should translate to a comprehensive data set that supports data driven decisions and insights to advance the business strategy of an enhanced customer experience while protecting Humana's data.

The Lead Data Product Manager will work as a liaison and manage data features between the solution and product teams.

The ideal candidate will:

• Define epic problem statements, features, value, benefit hypothesis and identify teams needed to deliver work
• Prioritize features spanning across all technical delivery teams supporting Data
• Ensure product owners have clear understanding of objectives, strategy and success criteria related to epics
• Translate the business needs to data requirements
• Consult in capability development
• Model and encourage Agile behaviors within the team
• Identify opportunities for process improvements
• Have experience in performing in-depth data analysis to derive insights that drives business outcomes and decisions.
• Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills
• Be an innovative thinker with an innate curiosity around data
• Be self-motivated and possess the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Exercise independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks and works under minimal supervision.
• Use independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Health Information Systems or a related technical field OR 8+ years of experience as a product manager
• 2+ or more years of project leadership experience
• SAFe Agile PMPO certification
• Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle, Waterfall, and Agile Development Methodologies
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Working knowledge of ADO and Jira Align
• Ability to communicate effectively and deliver presentations to senior leaders
• Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced Degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Knowledge or Cloud Computing is a plus
• Knowledge of the healthcare insurance industry
• Six sigma certification
• Previous experience with Genesys or other consumer experience equivalent platforms a plus.
• Azure Certifications a plus.
• Experience producing metrics, measurements, and trend reports
• Experience in problem analysis and process

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Health Information Systems or a related technical field OR 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner
• Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle, Waterfall, and Agile Development Methodologies
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access and Visio
• 2 or more years of project leadership experience
• Ability to communicate effectively and deliver presentations to senior leaders
• Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Snowflake or other cloud platforms a plus

Vaccine Policy:

Humana and its subsidiaries require vaccinated associates who work outside of their home to submit proof of vaccination, including COVID-19 boosters. • Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role.
• A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
