Major Accountabilities:

• Works with the Manager, Database Administration Services to execute all database/analytics development and database support operations of the Konami Casino Management System (KCMS) product.
• Ensures that KCSM database/analytics development are designed or re-designed, or new KCMS database/analytics products meet quality and customers, sales or Gaming Industry market objects.
• Maintains economical database/analytics development and database support methods.
• Recommends changes, reviews progress and creates and approves cost estimates of database/analytics development and database support proposals.
• Consults with and involves key stakeholders in all stages of key database/analytics development and database support activities,
• Works with Manager, Database Administration Services to drive to cross-functional implementation of database/analytics development plans within Systems R&D, including: monitory progress toward milestones and delivery of artifacts.
• Reports status of database/analytics development projects and database support activities to Manager, Database Administration Services. Work on-plans as directed.
• Identifies risks and develops mitigation strategies.
• Contributes to planning, communication, and risk analysis cross-functionally within the department.
• Coordinates and performs task necessary for database/analytics development project delivery and closure
• • Manages the installation and maintenance of new and existing customer systems (Oracle Databases), including backup and recovery, data integrity investigation and correction, replication of data between multiple sites, performance analysis and tuning.
  • Manages the data conversion tasks associated with customer installations.
• Complies with the company's regulatory guidelines and corporate policies at all times.

Required:

• Professional experience with OLTP/OLAP Oracle systems, data warehousing and data mining.
• Experience in Oracle database patching and performance tuning required.
• Disaster Recovery preparedness experience essential.
• Experience with logical and physical database design.
