This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Lead Director, Corporate Partnerships Strategy in the United States.

This senior leadership role is focused on shaping and scaling a national corporate and foundation partnership portfolio that drives both revenue growth and mission impact. You will oversee a high-performing account management function, guiding a team responsible for deepening relationships with corporate and philanthropic partners. The role requires a strategic thinker who can design integrated, multi-dimensional partnership frameworks spanning marketing, philanthropy, employee engagement, and executive-level collaboration. You will ensure continuity across the partnership lifecycle, from acquisition through long-term growth and renewal, while aligning closely with new business development efforts. This position plays a critical role in transforming how partnerships are structured, activated, and optimized across a complex national ecosystem. You will operate at the intersection of strategy, revenue growth, and social impact, helping position the organization as a premier partner for corporate and foundation investors. Accountabilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of a multi-year strategy to grow and diversify a $30M+ corporate and foundation partnership portfolio, driving consistent year-over-year revenue growth
  • Establish portfolio-wide revenue targets, forecasting models, and performance benchmarks to ensure accountability and growth
  • Design and implement a comprehensive partnership stewardship framework ensuring consistency, quality, and strategic depth across all accounts
  • Manage and develop a team of Account Directors responsible for day-to-day partner engagement and execution
  • Build and expand multi-dimensional partnerships across executive engagement, cause marketing, grants, employee engagement, volunteerism, and thought leadership initiatives
  • Ensure seamless integration of newly acquired partnerships through structured onboarding and alignment with internal teams
  • Oversee delivery of high-quality reporting, storytelling, and impact measurement to demonstrate partner value
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with program, marketing, communications, and finance teams to ensure alignment and execution excellence
  • Identify and implement innovative partnership models aligned with evolving trends in CSR, ESG, and corporate philanthropy
  • Drive portfolio performance optimization through data insights, retention strategies, and growth initiatives
  • Requirements:

    • 8–12+ years of progressive experience in corporate partnerships, account management, or business development, including 3–5+ years in people management
    • Proven success managing and growing a $30M+ corporate or foundation partnership portfolio with measurable revenue outcomes
    • Strong expertise in partnership stewardship, account management, and integrated partnership design
    • Experience working with cause marketing, corporate philanthropy, grant funding, and multi-channel partnership activation strategies
    • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams in a complex, matrixed environment
    • Strong cross-functional leadership experience across marketing, communications, programs, and finance teams
    • Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to engage and influence senior corporate and foundation executives
    • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate market trends into actionable partnership strategies
    • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex accounts simultaneously
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with executive-level presentation experience
    • Preferred: experience in national nonprofit organizations, ESG/CSR environments, CRM tools, and partnership marketing or PR activation
