Lead Engineer – Infrastructure & Platform

This role is a senior technical leadership position responsible for defining and owning the foundational infrastructure that powers scalable digital products and services. You will architect and evolve platform systems that support backend services, APIs, and live operations, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability across production environments. Acting as the key technical authority for infrastructure and DevOps, you will guide strategic engineering decisions that directly impact product quality and delivery speed. You will also help shape modern engineering practices, including AI-assisted and agentic development workflows, to enhance team efficiency and innovation. Working in a collaborative, high-performance environment, you will partner with cross-functional teams to build robust, future-ready systems. This is a hands-on leadership role that blends architecture design, operational excellence, and engineering enablement at scale.

You will be responsible for defining, leading, and maintaining the core infrastructure and platform architecture while ensuring scalability, reliability, and operational excellence across all environments.

• Define and own the end-to-end infrastructure and platform architecture across cloud and production environments.
• Lead technical decisions related to system scalability, performance, reliability, and long-term architectural direction.
• Design and promote AI-assisted and agentic development practices to improve engineering velocity and quality.
• Architect and support API-first, modular, and scalable system designs across services.
• Establish and optimize DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and release processes.
• Own cloud infrastructure (AWS or equivalent), ensuring security, efficiency, and scalability.
• Implement and enforce monitoring, logging, and alerting standards for production systems.
• Support the development and maintenance of structured data and configuration pipelines.
• Act as the most senior technical authority for infrastructure and platform-related decisions.

Requirements:

You are an experienced infrastructure and platform engineer with strong architectural expertise and a proven ability to lead complex technical systems in production environments.

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure, platform engineering, or systems architecture for scalable products.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS or other modern cloud infrastructure platforms.
• Proven ability to establish and scale DevOps practices, including CI/CD, monitoring, and deployment pipelines.
• Experience working with AI-assisted or agentic development workflows (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor) to accelerate engineering productivity.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and production-grade reliability.
• Experience acting as a senior technical decision-maker within engineering teams.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate in English (B2 level or higher).
• Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to operate independently and drive technical direction.
