Job Description

Team: Human Resources

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Lead HR Ops Specialist in United States.

This is a senior-level HR Operations role responsible for owning end-to-end people processes within a fast-scaling, global technology organization. The Lead HR Ops Specialist serves as the operational backbone for a complex workforce environment, ensuring that HR systems, processes, and employee lifecycle activities run smoothly, accurately, and in full compliance. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, acting as both a hands-on executor and a strategic problem solver who continuously improves how HR Ops functions at scale. The role spans cross-functional collaboration with HRBPs, Payroll, Legal, People Systems, and business leaders across multiple regions. A strong emphasis is placed on data integrity, compliance, and operational excellence, particularly in environments that include mission-critical infrastructure such as data centers. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in structured complexity and enjoys building scalable, automated HR operations in a high-growth setting.

Accountabilities:

  • Own and manage the full employee lifecycle for your assigned location, including onboarding, promotions, transfers, international moves, and offboarding processes
  • Act as the primary escalation point for all HR Operations matters, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant resolution of complex issues
  • Lead onboarding and offboarding programs for both office and operational site employees, ensuring scalable and consistent execution
  • Partner closely with HRBPs, Payroll, Legal, Immigration, Compensation, and Benefits teams to ensure seamless end-to-end HR service delivery
  • Maintain HRIS data integrity and governance, ensuring accurate employee records and high-quality reporting within systems such as HiBob or equivalent platforms
  • Identify and drive process improvements, automation opportunities, and AI-enabled solutions to reduce manual work and improve operational efficiency
  • Support and lead HR Operations projects across multiple locations, contributing to global process standardization and best practices
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, internal policies, and jurisdictional requirements, proactively identifying and mitigating operational risks
  • Oversee documentation, process guidelines, and operational playbooks to ensure consistency and audit readiness across HR operations
  • Collaborate with EHS and site operations teams to support HR processes in data center or mission-critical environments, including safety compliance tracking and incident documentation
  • Requirements:

    • 5–8 years of progressive experience in HR Operations, including at least 2 years in a senior or lead-level role with location or scope ownership
    • Strong expertise in HRIS platforms such as HiBob or similar systems, including data governance, workflows, and system administration
    • Experience managing multi-country or multi-jurisdiction HR operations with strong compliance awareness
    • Background working in or supporting operational environments such as data centers, manufacturing, or other 24/7 mission-critical settings
    • Strong understanding of employment law, HR compliance frameworks, and operational risk management
    • Proven experience driving HR process improvements, automation initiatives, or operational transformation projects
    • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to use data to identify risks and support decision-making
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across HR, business, and technical stakeholders
    • Ability to manage ambiguity, prioritize effectively, and operate with strong ownership and autonomy
    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field (or equivalent experience)
    • Strong plus: experience with EHS requirements (OSHA, ISO 45001 or equivalent) and shift-based workforce environments
    • Benefits:

      • Competitive compensation package of 102,700 to 154,100 USD annually
      • Career growth and continuous learning opportunities in a fast-scaling global environment
      • Flexible work arrangements supporting work-life balance
      • Collaborative, international, and innovation-driven culture
      • Opportunity to work on impactful AI-enabled transformation initiatives
      • Exposure to complex, global HR operations with high ownership and autonomy
      • Inclusive workplace with strong emphasis on diversity and collaboration
