Lead Power BI Engineer

Our client is a leading Turkish food company that continues to expand its product line and maintain a strong presence in both the Turkish and international markets​. We are hiring a team of engineers to oversee the efficient and reliable operation of sales teams, with a focus on supporting the company's digital transformation initiatives. 

Lead BI Software Engineer responsibilities include:

• Leading the team of BI Software Engineers
• Aligning with multiple business stakeholders 
• Designing, developing and maintaining business intelligence solutions
• Presenting information through reports and visualization
• Translate business needs to technical requirements
• Design, build and deploy BI solutions
• Maintain and support data analytics platforms
• Conduct testing and troubleshooting
• Evaluate and improve existing BI offerings
• Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses
• Create visualizations and reports for requested projects
• Develop and update technical documentation

Requirements:

• 8+ years of proven experience as a BI Engineer
• 2+ years of experience as a Lead Engineer 
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI
• Experience with MS SQL server
• In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework
• Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server
• Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude

Desirable skills:

• Creating Custom Power BI visuals
• UX experience
• Experience with SSRS and/or Tableau
• Azure DevOps
