Lead SAP Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Lead SAP Engineer with a strong background in SAP development to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will lead a team of developers while contributing to the development and maintenance of SAP-integrated solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of up to 10 SAP  developers 
• Design, develop, and implement Custom SAP integration solutions using ABAP for SAP ECC and SAP S4 HANA environments
• Develop and maintain REST integrations, but not limited to REST (e,g. Development of integration processes with 3rd party systems via IDOCs, RFC, SOAP web services)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
• Optimize performance of ABAP programs and  queries
• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues
• Ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards
• Stay current with the latest SAP technologies and industry trends (e.g. BTP,  SAP Business Hub APIs in LOG area)

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of SAP ABAP development experience in SAP ECC and SAP S4 HANA
• Strong Expertise in object-oriented programming (OOP ABAP) and REST integration
• Strong ODATA, AMDP and CDS views development experience
• Proficiency in ABAP on HANA, Data dictionary, Enhancements, BADIs, User exits, and Screen exits for SAP Logistics
• Extensive knowledge of SAP Quote to Cash Processing (SD) is obligatory and  experience with MM and PP modules is desired
• Strong techno-functional understanding of core SD processes, including:
• Sales Doc Creation, Billing Documents
• Pricing Procedures
• SD Data Determination
• Variant Configuration experience for SAP PP  is a plus.
• Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with performance optimization techniques for ABAP programs and SQL queries
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities 

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with C#, Java, JavaScript  would be a plus
• Digital Modernization background
• SAP certification(s)
