About the Role:

The Integrations Lead Solution Architect works tightly with customers on understanding their integration needs, assists in designing the solutions, and coordinates the development and deployment of these integrations. This role is the product owner for our PS-built integrations, working with customers and the Product team daily. They support and advocate for our users and focus on delivering quality. As part of the frontline of the Professional Services organization, the Integrations Lead Solution Architect is responsible for meeting customer project deadlines, customer satisfaction for services, and identifying leads/upsell opportunities.

What You'll Do:
  • Collaborate with our customers to understand their business challenges and helps them leverage the connection between our data-rich platform and their systems to increase their competitiveness in the marketplace

  • Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customers IT departments to and help them realize the value the Motive’s platform provides to their organization

  • As the product owner for PS-built integrations, gather requirements and design custom & scalable integration solutions for our customer’s use cases using Java and the Mulesoft platform.

  • Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the internal stakeholders in product, sales, marketing, customer success and support departments

What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of experience in Professional Services serving as a lead architect, meeting with large (1,000+ employee) customers and prospects to gather requirements and create solutions.

  • 10+ years experience in Professional Services architecting & implementing API-based integrations connecting one or more on-premise/SaaS packaged COTS solutions for ERP, CRM, e-Commerce, or mobile.

  • 7+ years experience with Integration Architecture concepts and patterns, such as Microservices, Service Oriented Architecture, Batch Integration, RESTful JSON services, etc.

  • Customer Facing Experience implementing OAuth, SAML, Single Sign On, Mobile Device Management, etc 

  • Ability to build productive client relationships, identify and develop opportunities for new business and new services offerings

  • Experience with Enterprise Integration Design Patterns and designing APIs

  • Experience in middleware platforms such as Mulesoft CloudHub and AnyPoint Studio IDEs.  Mulesoft Platform Architect or Mulesoft Integration Architect certification is preferred.

Pay Transparency
Your compensation may be based on several factors, including education, work experience, and certifications. For certain roles, total compensation may include restricted stock units. The compensation range for this position will depend on where you reside. Motive uses three geographic zones to determine pay range. For this role, the compensation ranges are:
San Francisco, California
$124,000—$170,500 USD
U.S. metropolitan areas: Los Angeles, San Diego, New York City Area, Seattle, Washington D.C.
$112,000—$153,000 USD
Other locations in the United States
$99,000—$136,000 USD
