We are looking for a Lead UI Designer to join our enterprise tech client's team. This is an opportunity with an enterprise-backed startup expanding global access to fast internet using laser beams. In this role you will collaborate with research and engineering teams to design simplified complex workflows for desktops applications, user portals and customer dashboards.

• Develop optimized and scalable design and workflow processes for consistency in work across teams in branding and product.
• Provide deliverables including prototypes, proof of concept documents, wireframes, user flows, use cases, user scenarios, information architectures, and visual design comps.
• Lead collaborative ideation sessions with representatives from all key stakeholder teams
• Present various aspects of the user experience to development team and clients
• Document user scenarios, personas and create functional specifications
• Track and monitor progress on development and quality of the experience
• Clearly and confidently communicate design decisions to client and wider team
• Manage and maintain IA/UI/UX best practices

We would like you to have…

• 10+ years of experience in User Interaction, User Experience, and/or Product design
• Demonstrated Skills in UX/UI, Wireframing and Design Strategy – previous experience owning the design of an entire product
• Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Adobe Creative Cloud and Visio
• Proven design experience with examples of successfully launched projects that demonstrate strategic, conceptual and creative thinking
• Demonstrated understanding of interactive experiences, channels, and design principles
• Proficiency in underlying interactive technologies, such as web and mobile
• Experience identifying and working closely with multiple stakeholders on large design initiatives, scaled across an ecosystem of digital projects
• Preferred experience: prior experience and/or knowledge in networking, wireless optical communication (WOC), Wireless LAN, Synchronous Optical Networking (SONET), Synchronous Digital Hierarchy (SDH), or similar technology
• Bonus experience: product and service design, motion design, HTML, localization and accessibility best practices

Compensation is commensurate with experience, skills, and qualifications, and will be within the posted range.
