Learning & Technology Specialist

The Learning and Technology Specialist will manage Outset’s customer and Internal Commercial training programs delivered through our learning technologies.  The role focuses on ensuring that education programs are well planned, drive business outcomes and create business insights. This includes the learners experience with the LMS, content management, learning management, troubleshooting, and transcripts.

Essential Job Functions and reporting. This individual must work to ‘bring to life’ a successful eLearning experience for both internal and external customers.

• Coordinate, manage, and support internal and external online training experiences
• Manage all aspects of the internal and external learning management system.
• Manage learning technologies including sales enablement and learning management.
• Showpad: user provisioning, troubleshooting, custom builds, library maintenance, and any custom page or shared experiences
• Develop requirements, workflows, and operating procedures for all learning and enablement technologies.
• Maintain communication between Commercial, Technical Service, Support, and Training teams to provide feedback and support.
• Participate in the rollout of new or upgraded technology. Communicating with pilot groups, aligning design and configuration with best practices and feedback from users and promoting adoption.
• Partner with cross-functional team to manage vendor credentialing.
• Create and maintain dashboards within Outset University to display all training elements for individuals and supervisors.
• Report on efficacy of online training programs and recommend improvements quarterly.
• Engage with learners to understand the needs of their jobs/role.
• Explore and evaluate learning technologies that assist in reducing the learning curve, empowering customers/employees, improving efficiencies and driving key business insights.
• Provide development of content and learning plans when needed
• Provide instructional design skills as needed (Project based initiatives)
• Provide content creation including storyboards, eLearning, videography, editing and more.
• Align with Instructional Design Manager to take on ID projects as needed
• Provide support to the Training team as needed

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
