Position Summary:

The Leave and Benefits Coordinator assists with the administration of our health and wellness programs, including answering employee inquiries, processing leave of absence requests, and assisting with open enrollment, annual projects, and weekly reporting.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Assist employees through the entire leave of absence lifecycle by processing ServiceNow tickets, meeting with employees, communicating with stakeholders, and collaborating with the leave of absence vendor
  • Administer various employee benefits programs such as group health, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, dental, vision, life and disability, voluntary benefits, 401(k), and wellness benefits
  • Administer Pax8’s wellness program by collaborating with other departments and Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), making suggestions, and implementing new programs
  • Respond to employee benefit inquiries received via the benefits Inbox and ServiceNow tickets in a timely manner
  • Assist with weekly reporting
  • Assist with the annual open enrollment process, post-open enrollment auditing, and other annual projects
  • Keep the U.S. and Canadian Total Rewards SharePoint site up to date with benefit, wellness, and leave of absence information
  • Ensure processes are documented and up to date

Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:

  • At least one (1) to two (2) years of experience in benefits and leave of absence coordination
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and reporting
  • Basic knowledge of benefit and leave of absence federal and state regulations
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with appropriate discretion
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-directed, proactive, and innovative

Required Education & Certifications:

  • B.A./B.S. in related field or equivalent work experience
Compensation:
  • Qualified candidates can expect a salary beginning at $49,000 or more depending on experience

*Note: Compensation is benchmarked on local Denver Metro area market rates. Qualified candidates in other locations can expect a salary package that may be adjusted based off applicable cost of wages in their respective location.
