About the role
Angi Compliance and Operations team is seeking a Licensed Plumber / License Qualifier to join one of the most recognizable home services brands in North America. This position is a unique opportunity for a plumbing professional looking to join the tech sector.
What you'll do
- Obtain and/or maintain trade license, including but not limited to, state regulated exams and continuing education requirements
- Ensure company compliance with state legislation and licensing requirements
- Assist with compliance activities including job and quality audits
- Advise on service professional licensing, code and permit requirements
Who you are
- Currently licensed as a journey level plumber in the state of Washington (applicable reciprocal licenses will be considered)
- In good standing with the Washington Labor & Industries Board
- Knowledge of state plumbing codes, ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and written reference materials
- Heat Pump, Electrical and HVAC experience is a plus
- Familiar with Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Docs, and Google Sheets)
- Must be able to communicate to cross-functional management in concise, easily understood terms
- Ability to handle confidential data with appropriate discretion
- Excellent written, verbal, and social communication skills
- Proven ability to meet reporting deadlines with quality, speed and accuracy
- Strong work ethic and sense of accountability and integrity
- Solid customer service focus and ability to work both independently and collaboratively with diverse teams across the organization
- Self-starter, with a demonstrated ability to identify issues, resolve problems and drive projects to completion
- Trustworthy, positive, energetic, optimistic attitude with a willingness to roll up your sleeves
Compensation & Benefits
- The salary for this position ranges from $22,000 to $28,000 annually.
- Hours: Up to 30 hours per month
