About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and data-driven individual to join our marketing team as a Lifecycle & Growth Marketing Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing data-driven strategies to optimize customer lifecycle marketing and drive growth for our organization. Your expertise in reporting and analytics will play a critical role in shaping our marketing initiatives and decision-making processes. Your work at Outdoorsy
Lifecycle Marketing Strategy:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute data-informed customer lifecycle marketing strategies.
- Analyze customer segments, behaviors, and trends to identify opportunities for engagement and retention.
- Strategize new ways to build the Outdoorsy brand and strategize for our newly opened campgrounds and properties.
Reporting and Analytics:
- Generate regular reports on campaign performance, user behavior, and key metrics.
- Analyze data to derive actionable insights and make recommendations for campaign optimization.
- Work with our data analytics team to understand and optimize our customer journeys.
- Work independently in Mixpanel and Tableau to segment audiences and run tests for incrementality
A/B Testing and Optimization:
- Plan and execute A/B tests to improve email marketing, customer journeys, and conversion rates.
- Continuously optimize marketing campaigns based on test results and data-driven insight.
Segmentation and Personalization:
- Create and maintain customer segments for personalized marketing campaigns.
- Use data analysis to improve the relevance and effectiveness of marketing communications.
- Utilize our new suite of personalization tools to optimize current customer journeys.
Competitive Analysis:
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitors' marketing strategies.
- Provide insights and recommendations for staying ahead in the marketplace.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with content, design, and development teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding.
Requirements
What you will bring to the table
- 2-3 years experience in Marketing Automation, Lifecycle, and Data Analysis
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, or a related field.
- Experience with Mixpanel, Tableau, and Iterable a plus.
- Experience with a property management system a plus.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and marketing analytics platforms.
- Strong knowledge of A/B testing and experiment design.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
- Love to live an outdoorsy lifestyle (Know our target audience well)!
Benefits
The salary range for this role is $69,500 - $81,000 USD.
We continue to have our home and headquarters in Austin, Texas, but we have embraced a distributed model of working to reach the best talent in the United States and globally. While some roles may require proximity to our Austin office, roles based outside of our Austin office can sit in any of the following 21 US states: AR, AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, IN, MN, MO, MT, NV, OH, OK, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, and WV. The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in accordance with potentially applicable laws. The final agreed-upon compensation is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to: individual education, qualifications, prior work experience, and geographic work location. The total annual compensation package may consist of a base salary and bonus dependent upon position.
