We’re looking for an experienced Lifecycle Marketing Manager who can support the strategy and execution of end-to-end lifecycle marketing initiatives across acquisition, activation and retention. The ideal candidate will have no problem rolling up their sleeves to ensure relevant programs are being created for all stages of the customer journey and have the desire to build a Lifecycle team around them. This will be a cross-functional role, working closely with our Sales, Productm and Marketing teams, sitting in our Growth Marketing function responsible for new user acquisition, activation and monetization as well as buyer demand generation.
As a Lifecycle Marketing Manager you will:Â
- Develop Amplitude’s customer journey stages and create initiatives for each stage of the customer journey, including onboarding, engagement and monetization.
- Develop and maintain nurture programs to generate qualified leads for our Sales teams.
- Create and refine effective campaigns that leverage customer data, product usage data and include a mix of triggered, targeted and broad educational programs.
- Identify key metrics for lifecycle programs and continuously iterate on ways to improve them. You’ll be responsible for reporting on these metrics to the leadership team.
- Build cross-functional relationships internally, working closely with our Product Growth team, Marketing Campaigns team and Sales teams.
- Build relationships with our customers and manage research efforts that help inform our lifecycle programs and ensure we put the customer experience front and center.Â
- Lay the foundation and strategy for what Lifecycle means at Amplitude and hire additional people to your team.
You'll be a great addition to the team if you have:
- 3+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in Lifecycle marketing specifically – B2B experience is a plus
- A proven track record of delighting customers and showing results from your initiatives
- An experimentation mindset and an ability to act and adapt based on what the data is telling you
- Ability to understand the voice and perspectives of multiple personas
- Strong writing skills – ideally with a personality or desire to “stand out”
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally and the ability to juggle many prioritiesÂ
- Experience with MarTech and low code tools (i.e. Intercom, Marketo) preferred
