This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Litigation Paralegal in the United States.
This role provides an exciting opportunity to support U.S. law firms in managing complex civil litigation cases from start to finish. As a Litigation Paralegal, you will conduct legal research, draft critical documents, and assist attorneys through every stage of the litigation process, including discovery, hearings, and trials. You will maintain organized case files, coordinate communications with clients and courts, and ensure strict adherence to deadlines and court procedures. This position is fully remote, offering flexibility while requiring a self-motivated, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment. Your work will have a direct impact on case outcomes and the efficiency of the legal team.

Accountabilities:

  • Assist attorneys throughout all phases of litigation, including trial and appeal preparation.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Manage and organize case files, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation.
  • Coordinate communications with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and other parties.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as email management, scheduling, and monitoring court deadlines.
  • Prepare and manage discovery processes, including document production, interrogatories, and depositions.
  • Support hearings, depositions, and trials by organizing exhibits, witness materials, and case documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with court rules, procedures, and deadlines while maintaining a high standard of accuracy.
  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field preferred.
  • Relevant experience as a Litigation Paralegal, particularly in U.S. civil litigation.
  • Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures, court rules, and legal terminology.
  • Skilled in legal research and document drafting.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (especially Excel) and Google Workspace.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong command of English.
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and maintain reliability.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
  • Experience in a remote work environment is an advantage.
