The Localization Coordinator for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for helping teams deliver clear, correct translations for diagnostic instruments on time and within budget.

This position is part of the Diagnostics Technical Publications Team and will be fully remote (USA based). At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

You will be a part of the Technical Publications team and report to the Senior Manager responsible for creation and localization of instrument manuals and localization of instrument software. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Coordinate the localization of instrument IFUs and software, keep detailed schedules, reporting status, troubleshoot issues and resolve problems.
• Manage the relationship with localization vendor(s) through regular meetings, progress status reports, and capture metrics to monitor the translation effort.
• Create translation kit and instructions for vendor(s) and review output.
• Manage the relationship with Beckman language SMEs ensuring feedback on translation choice and/or quality is addressed adequately.
• Monitor translation costs and investigate methods of reducing spend.
• Monitor and escalate localization vendor quality issues using standard escalation process and procedure.
• Drive the growth of and alignment to the Beckman Coulter global glossary within projects.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor's degree in field with 2+ years' experience OR Master's degree with 0+ years of experience
• Proven project management skills
• Familiarity with translation memory tools and processes
• Experience with document management systems or database system development and management
• Experience with FDA regulatory requirements

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Localization within the medical device or pharmaceutical industry

The annual salary range for this role is $65,000 - $80,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
