Long term Finance Internship

Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical long-term Finance Intern to join our Business Planning and Analysis team. You will be closely working with the team to assist in financial analysis, month-end closing process, reporting, and financial planning. This role provides an excellent opportunity for those who look forward to starting a career in Finance and Business Analysis.

About the Role

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing accurate, timely financial reports, including monthly personnel cost and headcount reports to allow the team to track month-end results.
• Support the team in strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes. Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support.
• Work on ad hoc financial projects as directed by the manager or senior team members.
• Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or master's program with a focus on Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field.
• Strong analytical skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc).
• Excellent communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Interest in financial planning and strategy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment.

Please note this is a long-term internship lasting 6-12 months.

Applicants must receive academic credit for the internship, and it is highly desired that candidates are willing and able to commit to full-time hours.

Note: Prior experience in a financial role is not required but would be highly beneficial.
