ABOUT PROPRIETARY RESEARCH

On our proprietary research team—Market Intelligence—you’ll partner with our investment professionals and Compliance team to uncover insights about companies, industries, and the broader economy through deep fundamental research and applying data science and engineering techniques to alternative data sets. You’ll work alongside a talented team with diverse skills, backgrounds, and perspectives. Our researchers, product managers, and data scientists and engineers work together to build compliant research products that answer the questions posed by our investment professionals. ROLE SUMMARY

We are looking for an Analyst to join the team and work directly with macro investment professionals. Specifically, you will: 

• Collaborate with our proprietary research teams cross-functionally (Data Sourcing, Data Scientists, Engineers) to source and extract the most value out of new and existing compliance approved data assets
• Develop alternative data driven analyses and compose research reports and products for internal consumption sourced to compliance approved data assets that synthesize research findings and generate actionable signals
• Collaborate with macro investment professionals, economists, and external research providers to track global economic and policy developments

WHAT’S REQUIRED

• An undergraduate or advanced degree with demonstrated academic success
• 0-2+ years of prior equity/macroeconomic/investment/scientific research or consulting
• Business intuition and an innate ability to structure ambiguous problems and take action to solve them
• Basic proficiency with technical coding/programming (SQL, Python)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

The annual base salary range for this role is $85,000 - $103,000, which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
