This position is covered by the Department of Transportation's Drug and Alcohol Testing Program. Any applicant tentatively selected for this position will be subject to pre-employment or pre-appointment drug screening. Persons occupying a "testing designated position (TDP)" will be subject to random drug and/or alcohol testing.

Security Requirements: Moderate Risk (position sensitivity level 5): This position requires completion & favorable adjudication of a Moderate Risk Background Investigation (Tier 2) prior to appointment, unless waiver is obtained.

Physical Effort: Considerable lifting of heavy materials and working tools and extensive standing, bending, lifting, pushing and pulling are inherent in this position. Also, incumbent will be working under variable conditions which require using protective clothing and gear, safety devices and safe trade practices. Incumbent must be physically able to wear OSHA standard personal protective equipment (PPE) per 29 CFR.

Working Conditions: Incumbent works inside and outside during all kinds of weather conditions including varying temperatures.
