Job Summary:
The Maintenance Service and Project Manager will oversee all maintenance activities and projects across our properties. This role involves closely monitoring trades, developing cost control systems, and ensuring efficient service delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property management, maintenance, and project oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and manage maintenance projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are adhered to.
- Vendor Management: Source, evaluate, and maintain relationships with contractors and service providers; monitor their performance to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Cost Control: Develop and implement systems for tracking maintenance costs, analyzing expenses, and identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections of properties and maintenance work to ensure compliance with safety standards and quality expectations.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the property management team to prioritize maintenance requests and projects, ensuring timely response and resolution.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on maintenance activities, project status, and budget performance to management.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in maintenance operations and develop procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Training and Development: Mentor and train maintenance staff and contractors on best practices, safety protocols, and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in facilities management, construction management, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in property management or maintenance services, with a focus on project management.
- Strong understanding of cost control methods and budget management.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with vendors, team members, and clients.
- Proficient in using maintenance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
