Maintenance Technician - HVAC Certified

We are currently recruiting an experiencedMAINTENANCE TECH – Certifiedto join our team at our new community located in the North Austin area. Under the direction and guidance of the Lead Maintenance, the position is responsible for efficiently performing routine maintenance duties and to assist the Lead with organizing, directing and managing the overall maintenance program of our apartment community. RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist the Lead Maintenance Technician with completion of service requests; make ready; pool and grounds care, and preventive maintenance: Make general A/C, Appliance and Electrical repairs Performs carpentry work, painting and plumbing duties Install, repair and re-key locks in accordance with key procedures Installs appliance and electrical fixtures Ensure positive resident relations by responding to service requests in a friendly, professional manner and within the designated time frame Assists Lead Maintenance in implementing and supervising training program for all safety procedures Works on-call, overtime, weekends, holidays, and evening work as required QUALIFICATIONS: Must have good oral and written communication skills to understand and follow directions and to communicate professionally and effectively with co-workers, residents, vendors and corporate staff 3+ years experience in multi-family maintenance Maintain a strong emphasis on customer service Must have reliable transportation to and from work each day, a valid driver’s license, current insurance and the ability to work on-call. Must have a valid Drivers License and Current Auto Insurance Must have a current Universal or Type 1 & Type 2 EPA certification We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package including 401(K), full medical, dental and vision coverage.
