Instacart’s Brand Partnerships team is focused on serving these advertisers through our native advertising platform. We are looking for a highly motivated Manager, Account Management, to join as a category team leader, developing account strategies through deep understanding and holistic views at the category level. You will work alongside the Sales and Ad Operations teams, bringing excellence to client partner relationships, and help our advertisers measure results, optimize, and grow their business through your team of Account Managers.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Hire, develop and manage a team of Account Managers responsible for delivering performant advertising campaigns and identifying incremental revenue opportunities with advertisers 
  • Consult to select advertisers on strategic growth initiatives - understanding Instacart’s ad products, capabilities and requirements, and tools that are required by sophisticated advertisers - to accelerate growth
  • Work effectively across many cross-functional teams (e.g. Sales, Product, Insights, Meda Analytics, and Catalog) identifying and proposing solutions to complex problems, collaborating and influencing to create a path for our teams to execute solutions successfully
  • Partner with Sales Managers and Account Executives to deliver on quarterly gross advertising revenue goals and OKRs
  • Monitor and maintain awareness of advertiser’s objectives and needs, ensuring advertisers are set up for success. Effectively coaching Account Managers how to advise advertisers with strategic recommendations that meet both their objectives and Instacart’s needs
  • Identify operational pain points; use data to size, prioritize, and recommend process changes 
  • Mine data to find insights on the performance of the Account Management team and our advertisers
  • Identify gaps in client coverage and proactively adjust resourcing plans as needed

  • At least six years of functional experience, and 2-4 years of management experience

Instacart provides highly market-competitive compensation and benefits in each location where our employees work. This role is in office and the base pay range for a successful candidate is dependent on their work location. Please review our Flex First remote work policy here.
Offers may vary based on many factors, such as candidate experience and skills required for the role. Additionally, this role is eligible for a new hire equity grant as well as annual refresh grants. Please read more about our benefits offerings here. 
For San Francisco, CA based candidates, the base pay ranges for a successful candidate are listed below.
