The Role

As an Agile Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the product discovery, story writing, and tracking of team metrics for multiple teams. You will be the go-to person for Agile operations, work to standardize practices and mentor/manage multiple Scrum Masters.


What You Will Do

  • Oversee product discovery, story writing, and tracking of team metrics for multiple teams.
  • Collaborate with product teams to ensure a smooth transition from product discovery to production release.
  • Ensure teams are following Agile processes and best practices.
  • Act as a liaison between teams, technical staff, and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate a release planning process.
  • Identify and implement improvements to Agile operations.
  • Manage and mentor multiple Scrum Masters.
  • Ensure teams are following consistent Agile processes.
  • Develop metrics to track team performance utilizing Jira to track workflow and progress.
  • Ensure teams are meeting goals within the allotted timeframes.
  • Monitor team performance and adjust processes as needed providing feedback and guidance to teams on how to optimize their processes.

What You Need to Succeed

  • 5+ years of experience with Agile operations and management
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • Proven leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, transparency, active listening and showing general interest through empathy
  • Advanced experience in Jira
  • Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills

Compensation

The salary range for this position is: $109,000 - $147,000, plus individuals may be eligible for a discretionary bonus. Actual Compensation within the range will be dependent on the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.


Location

This is a permanent, full-time, fully remote position. Employees living in Indianapolis, IN are welcome to work from our company headquarters. We do not offer Visa sponsorship or relocation assistance at this time.
