Job Description:
We are currently looking for an ambitious, strategic, and inspirational business development leader with knowledge of SaaS enterprise software business development. The ideal candidate will understand what it takes to deploy enterprise software and be well-versed in building key internal partnerships, coaching, motivating, and mentoring our team of Business Development Reps in our rapid-growth North American market.
Serving as a key contributor, the Manager, Business Development will work closely with the local VP of Sales as well as the Senior Manager, Business Development to create and execute sales strategies to drive lead development and revenue growth through targeted outbound prospecting. You will lead, develop, and coach your team, work closely with Field Sales, Marketing, Business Operations and Product teams, and be accountable for delivering against defined revenue and KPI goals. You will also be responsible for leading the efforts to drive productivity and efficiency improvement for this team through innovation, new sales technologies, enablement, and process improvement.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales development strategies that drive quarterly and yearly growth
  • against company targets.
  • Ensure activity KPIs (outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn, Video) are met on a weekly/monthly basis.
  • Assess quality of outbound messaging (email/phone) and meetings to maximize progression of
  • meetings to qualified opportunities (Excites).
  • Work closely with Sequence Writer to localize new email sequences.
  • Collaborate closely with the Outside Sales EMEA team to develop strategic solutions to drive
  • growth in given sales regions and territories.
  • Work in partnership with Marketing and Operations to help optimize the lead management life
  • cycle in EMEA.
  • Hire, develop, coach, enable and manage a team of BDRs to meet and exceed their qualified
  • meetings generation and BDR activity.
  • Lead efforts to increase productivity and efficiency through sales contests, innovative training,
  • sales technology, and process improvement.
  • Help maintain a sales culture of innovation, determination, imagination, and respect by living up to those values daily and engraining those behaviours within your team of BDRs.
