The Partnership Development team is responsible for creating new multi-dimensional partnerships in support of Yahoo Ad Tech's business strategy and objectives. Our work allows Yahoo to develop and grow high-impact, profitable partnerships with our most strategic partners, including media companies, technology platforms and providers, retailers and premium publishers, among others.
What You Will Do:
  • Identify, negotiate and close complex deals that are long-term profitable for Yahoo. Engage in holistic deal-making that incorporates all facets of potential relationships with Yahoo into deal structures.
  • Lead business development strategy and execution in focus areas, which may include connected TV, retail/private media networks and emerging growth businesses.
  • Collaborate closely with product, sales, finance, legal and other internal stakeholders to map and launch partner requirements.
  • Navigate complex partner organizations and forge new relationships to identify additional collaboration and partnerships opportunities
  • Develop accurate performance forecasts and deliver upon such projections
  • Report regularly to the leadership team on the status of key partnerships and efforts

Your Skills:
  • BS / BA degree, MBA preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in media and/or tech-focused business development or strategic partnerships. Minimum 3 years digital experience.
  • Significant experience structuring and negotiating successful deals, including driving the financial modeling process and deal analytics
  • Demonstrated ability to build lasting and positive relationships with partners by creating ongoing value and ensuring excellent communication and follow-through on commitments
  • Experience working closely with and influencing cross-functional teams to support deal execution and to drive development of new products and business models
  • Comfort navigating complex, large organizations both internally and externally
  • Sound business judgment with creative and analytical problem solving skills
  • Team player with exceptional interpersonal skills, including communication, relationship-building, networking, and building influence

If hired for this position in Colorado, the compensation range for this position is between $105,750.00 - $176,250.00. The compensation may vary depending on your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include additional incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, plus equity incentives. Yahoo provides industry-leading benefits including healthcare, retirement, company holidays, vacation, sick time, parental leave and an employee assistance program.
