About this Role

Fandom is growing! Our Manager of Commerce Analytics opportunity is based in the United Kingdom, and reports to our VP of Research and Analytics - Tamar Rimmon. This position can be UK - remote or hybrid to our offices in Rugeley or London.

You will lead analytics and our team for Fanatical, our online video game retailer. You will utilize analytics techniques and marketing sciences to provide important insights into the consumer journey and our performance to increase acquisition, conversion and retention. You will partner with Merchandising, Marketing, Operations and Technology teams to identify opportunities, forecast product performance, and improve conversion funnels by doing deep-dive analysis, creating self-serve dashboards, and managing data pipelines.


You Will...
  • Lead a team of 2+ analysts to create and apply insights for Fanatical and support Fandom's marketing team efforts for other properties including Gamespot and Metacritic.
  • Produce and apply insights that help improve the Fanatical commerce experience, maximise conversion and ROI
  • Partner with leadership to set, socialize, and monitor topline and initiative-specific goals and key performance indicators which reflect the health and potential of the business
  • Conduct A/B and multivariate tests for site features and experiences, and promote a hypothesis-driven rapid experimentation culture that tests, measures and iterates
  • Develop analytical frameworks to better understand our customers and the impact of our marketing investments, including attribution, churn prediction, lifetime value modeling, experiment methodology, and customer segmentation
  • Analyze internal and competitive pricing data, along with behavioral data, to develop pricing optimization models
  • Use channel and marketing analytics to identify how each touchpoint and interaction along the consumer journey affects conversion and engagement
  • Translate business questions into clear and insightful analyses and visualisations with a mix of regular reporting, self-service dashboards and ad hoc deep-dive analyses
You Have...
  • 6+ years digital analytics experience, with at least 3 years in e-commerce
  • 2+ years directly managing one or more analysts
  • Expert level experience using SQL for multi-table queries
  • Comfortable with Python
  • Player|Coach - strategic needs analysis and design with hands-on execution
  • Collaborate, partner and influence a variety of peers and internal partners. (e.g. merchandising, marketing, product, etc.)
  • Storyteller with the ability to uncover and share insights backed by data
