Digital Product Life-Cycle (DPLC) is a Collins wide digital transformation initiative, integrating and deploying cutting edge capabilities in how product is developed, produced, and supported. A component of the DPLC platform is Connected Operations. Connected Operations is an ecosystem connecting our factory set of tools that are integrated to form composable toolchains for efficient and connected build process by the Operations teams. This environment is flexible, scalable and supports compliance to corporate Policies.

The Enterprise Operations Smart Factory Team is currently searching for a Change Management professional who will understand and manage the importance of adoption in times of great change as DPLC is implemented across Collins Aerospace.

As a Connected Operations Change Manager, you will be accountable for the end-to-end management of Change Management supporting multiple Business units. You will be working with a variety of stakeholders ensuring overall adoption within a business unit to create, deliver and drive adoption and training plan for Connected Operations throughout Collins Aerospace SBUs.

Must be willing to travel up to 25% domestic as needed for the role.

This individual can sit at any Collins Aerospace location domestic location or remote.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities• Assess the change impact• Complete change management assessments• Create change management strategy• Identify, analyze, prepare risk mitigation tactics• Identify and manage anticipated resistance• Consult and coach project teams• Create actionable deliverables for the five change management levers: communications plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, resistance management plan.• Motivate and align additional change leads throughout the differing SBUs to assist in detailing specific change needs by site or product• Report work status on a weekly basis and communicate to the key project participants and interested parties. Report Change Management progress to executive leadership monthly.• Ensuring value delivery by measuring adoption throughout the SBUs• Assess current training needs and documentation that drives consistency, and assist in training facilitation while working with content owners• Responsible for holistically understanding both the business and technical aspects of the DPLC and Connected Operations platform modules• Support communication efforts• Support training efforts and assist in training plan creation and alignment• Support and engage senior leaders• Coach managers and supervisors• Support organizational design and definition of roles and responsibilities• Integrate change management activities into project plan• Evaluate and ensure user readiness• Track and report issues

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience OR
  • Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience OR
  • In absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience is required
  • Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Bachelor's degree (typically in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
  • Must be a US Citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Three years' experience in information technology, marketing, or public relations

    Two plus years of experience in leading teams through change and delivering outcomes

    ProSci Change Management certified or willingness to certify

    SaFE Agile certified or willingness to certify
  • Skills that will help you in the role:

    Strong oral and written communication skills to all levels of the business

    Strong organizational skills

    Ability to manage matrix employees that include Senior level leadership and IT Technical staff that are needed to effect change
