About the Position

The Manager, Corporate Talent Acquisition is responsible for developing, organizing, and executing the Talent Acquisition strategy for the corporate business segment of Octave.  In this role, you will lead a team of recruiters, sourcers, and TA operations professionals focused on identifying, attracting and hiring the best talent while creating a world class candidate experience. You will serve as a trusted thought partner to the organization on Talent Acquisition strategies. This person must be a builder who thrives in a large growth and dynamic environment. The Manager, Corporate Talent Acquisition is fundamentally central to the growth of Octave and is therefore directly tied to expanding mental healthcare access to thousands. 

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Lead and build a team of high performing recruiters, sourcers, and coordinators who are focused on achieving all Corporate hiring goals across the organization.
  • Define and evaluate the organization’s Corporate recruiting and sourcing metrics to continuously measure and improve team performance and candidate experience.
  • Collect and use data to make informed decisions, drive efficiency, communicate challenges and progress, analyze metrics and develop predictive analyses.
  • Coach and develop the recruiting team to build their skills and enhance their knowledge on tools and trends within recruiting.
  • Lead operational processes within recruiting to ensure there is a seamless flow, strong focus on customer service, compliance with local, state and federal hiring practices, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct full-cycle recruitment for leadership positions.
  • Leverage available tools and technology, seeking opportunities to simplify, automate, and create efficiencies were needed.
  • Refine and evolve the hiring process through collaboration with leadership.
  • Lead recruiting projects and initiatives; engage in self-directed work, create and maintain timelines for projects, identify recruiting team members to support projects, and manage to project deadlines and deliverables.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance employer brand on social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.)
  • Develop and deliver regular reporting to leadership on recruiting successes, challenges, strategic plans and recommendations.
Experience, Skills, Knowledge And/or Abilities:
  • BS/BA degree in Business Administration, HR Management or related field, or comparable professional experience.
  • Prefer 8 years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition (at least 3 years leading recruiting teams in a high growth startup environment.)
  • Prefer 2 years of Technical Recruiting experience.
  • High proficiency, commitment, and aptitude in responsiveness and service.
  • Action-oriented, including the ability to make decisions in ambiguous situations.
  • Highly collaborative and able to nuance various needs and expectations.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop high-performance teams and individuals in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong expertise in planning and executing Talent Acquisition initiatives.
  • Analytical skills demonstrating the ability to leverage insights from data to drive outcomes.
  • Able to manage change through taking a proactive role in bringing about change and effectively supporting the needs of others throughout the process.
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills across multiple levels, functions, and cultures.
  • Active curiosity in improving current TA practicing to enhance team utilization.
  • Function with a growth mindset and a keenness of prioritizing requisitions.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future. 

Starting pay for qualified applicants will depend on a combination of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary range for this role is set forth below and this range may be modified in the future.

The salary range for this role is $160,000-$190,000.

Additionally, this position is eligible for the following benefits: company sponsored life insurance, disability and AD&D plans.  Voluntary benefits such as 401k retirement, medical, dental, vision, FSA, HSA, dependent care and commuter/parking options are also available.  Octave offers generous Paid Time Off as well as paid parental leave benefits.
