The person in this role will be a trusted advisor to the Revenue team on deal structure and discounting  facilitating non-standard deal procedure and ensuring each deal is executed timely and in compliance with our agreed upon policies and data requirements.

What you get to do every day

  • Be part of a dynamic and growing team that will help you level up your skills
  • Review incoming discounting requests and provide guidelines to maximize profitability
  • Manage day-to-day pricing/contract approval process, driving compliance within pre-approved thresholds
  • Function as a liaison between Sales, Finance, and Legal to process non-standard discount and redline requests
  • Manage upgrade and downgrade procedure, processing these changes in the system to meet the needs of all cross functional data sources (Billing, Product)
  • Effectively identify and resolve conflicts arising between client needs and internal operational processes
  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline and expedite the non-standard deal approval process
  • Grow a team of deal desk associates

What you bring to the role

  • Ability to work in an organized, efficient manner in a fast pace environment
  • A passion for creative problem-solving
  • 4+ years working in deal desk/contract management
    • 1+ years operating as a people manager within deal desk/contract management
  • Excellent cross-functional communication, organization, and prioritization skills
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce and Salesforce best practices, including how to manage deal desk communications in Salesforce
  • Startup and SaaS background is preferred

Compensation - The salary range target for the role seniority described in this job description is $120,000 - $130,000. Final offer amounts depend on multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise, geographic location, compensation/equity mix, and market data. This position may also be eligible for additional incentives such as equity awards, short-term incentives, or sales compensation.
