Manager, Employee Engagement and Internal Communications
Job Description
The Opportunity:
The Manager, Employee Engagement and Internal Communication is responsible for developing and managing innovative employee engagement programming focused on driving an inclusive, engaged and positive employee culture and experience. This role will be responsible for reducing attrition, partnering closely with department leadership to deploy programs that empower our employees and align to our values and principles. This position will play a critical role in advancing our mission to positively impact one billion people - starting with our employees!
Responsibilities:
โ Assess and improve the employee experience, making recommendations to leadership and executing corresponding solutions.
โ Create learning and development opportunities and programs.
โ Advise on, draft and deploy strategic internal communications.
โ Manage and make improvements to the Companyโs rewards and recognition platform and program.
โ Oversee Company engagement surveys, including deploying the surveys, reviewing the outcome, and preparing corresponding materials to share results. Use data and insights generated from these surveys to drive changes to communication and engagement strategies.
โ Develop employee engagement and communications strategy, prepare corresponding plan and execute deliverables related to the same.
โ Prepare employee communications for all levels of the organization around upcoming company events and initiatives, important employee reminders and various other internal programming. โ Lead and ensure the effectiveness of the Culture Committee
โ Manage the employee review cycle process and ensure timely completion of review cycle tasks. โ Perform other related duties as assigned.
Skillset:
โ Successful record of building new programs, improving existing programming and supporting engagement for high-performing teams.
โ Proven ability to develop strategic internal communication and effective employee engagement programs, particularly in a remote environment.
โ Demonstrated success in building internal trust and strong relationships with business partners. โ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
โ Excellent time management and organizational skills with a proven ability to work in a fast paced and rapidly evolving environment.
โ Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Requirements:
โ 5+ years of experience in employee engagement, internal communications or a related discipline.
โ Bachelorโs degree.
