About the team

Be part of an exciting and growing Technology team focused on product development. The Corporate Engineering and Infrastructure Services teams support and amplify all business functions through technology. These teams are at the heart of making SecurityScorecard function as a well-oiled machine.

What you will do

  • Lead multiple engineering teams covering corporate engineering and infrastructure services disciplines with visibility and impact across the entire organization.
  • Develop and implement features within the SecurityScorecard web platforms, APIs, intranet, customer support applications, and other core products.
  • Manage relationships with vendors, mature the vendor management system, escalate technical issues to resolution, and influence 3rd party product roadmaps.
  • Participate in short and long range planning and the execution of strategic initiatives to reach the organization’s business goals.
  • Oversee operations of identity and access management (IAM) solutions, HR systems, and business technology systems.
  • Own the integration and operation of SaaS applications across Finance, Legal, HR, Customer Service, and Engineering like GSuite, Slack, Zendesk, Atlassian, Salesforce and GreenHouse.
  • Champion code quality, engineering discipline, and team collaboration.
  • Contribute to the architecture of a complex SaaS platform.

Basic Qualifications

  • 8 years of software engineering and architecture experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in building or leading teams who built web applications, APIs, and backend services preferably with JavaScript (Node, React) and/or Python.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience managing, coaching, and elevating engineering teams.
  • Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems.
  • Experience with Identity and Access Management tools (Okta, Active Directory) and Mobile Device Management (ie. Jamf Pro, InTune).
  • Experience leading and managing complex IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructures across various technologies.

  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional partners and independently drive projects and decisions.
  • You’re a team player and have worked in distributed self-organizing teams before.
  • Experience building relationships with external partners.
  • Tech lead by example; you foster collaboration and are ready to jump in the trenches with the engineers in your team.
  • Experience as a people manager, building career paths, and hiring new engineers.
  • Experience administering a mixed remote macOS and Windows environment.
  • Understanding of endpoint protection tools (ie. CrowdStrike).
