Manager, Enterprise Communications (MSP, DAL or Toronto)
Job Description
The Manager, Enterprise Communications works closely with the Director of Enterprise Communications to plan and execute the enterprise and people communications strategy, including key initiatives for employees, managers and HR professionals within the People Function.
About the Role
In this opportunity as Manager, Enterprise Communications, you will:
- Support the development of the enterprise internal communications strategy, approach and plan, and deliver relevant, consistent and timely messages to engage a wide variety of stakeholders including executives, employees, managers and HR colleagues.
- Support the Director of Enterprise Communications to develop and execute campaigns and "business as usual" communications, ensuring they are well integrated into other communications themes and campaigns going on across the company and enterprise strategy.
- Partner with Comms colleagues and stakeholders on key events including CEO all hands, customer town halls and leadership events.
- Advise clients on communications strategies and initiatives, and help partners craft answers to complex and/or sensitive questions.
- Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders across the People Function, Communications team and the entire Thomson Reuters organization.
- Support the HR content strategy from a global communications perspective, working with stakeholders, Internal Communications and the online team to determine what content should be prioritized and delivered on our intranet and other platforms.
- Support other Corporate Functions communications as needed, including organization announcements.
About You
You're a fit for the role of Manager, Enterprise Communications if your background includes:
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Fluent English
- Proven experience handling internal and employee-related communications
- Proven experience as a trusted advisor to leaders/managers
- Public company experience and familiarity in dealing with confidential/ material information
- Proven experience in crisis communications
- Excellent communication skills, additional languages advantageous
- Proven ability to coordinate a global program in a matrixed organization (working with colleagues across the Communications function)
- Experience in financial services, information services, media and/or technology industries is an advantage
