The Manager II, Virtualization is a critical role in our Product and Technology organization, leading the Infrastructure Virtualization team in the design and implementation of complete compute, storage, and networking solutions to provide self-service, highly available, virtualization services in an enterprise environment. This position acts as a servant leader removing barriers enabling the team to focus on their missions unlocking value for customers and our business. This position requires a dedication to achieve exceptional results, a strong desire for continuous improvement, the ability to lead strategic initiatives, and a commitment to building a collaborative, customer focused, outcome-oriented culture across the team.

During the first six months, you will:
  • Lead virtualization engineers in a DevOps type environment, both virtually and in-person, to deliver virtual environments utilizing converged infrastructure technologies as well as various cloud entities.
  • Increase the Infrastructure Virtualization team's velocity providing visibility across the organization through delivery, execution, and talent development
  • Deepen customer feedback loops
  • Implement a project framework that will ensure success and repeatability
  • Facilitate team and project coordination sessions, remove impediments, and enable the team to be their best
  • Build and maintain vendor relationships with the goal of delivering best value at most efficient total cost of ownership
  • Develop and implement measurable continuous improvement plans, with the goal of eliminating technical debt
  • Discover requirements and manage dependencies across the product suite
  • Effectively manage production issues and communicate business impact to stakeholders
  • Develop team member skill sets that are broad and/or deep as the business demands and the leadership capabilities of team members
  • Facilitate longer-term career plans with each member of the team, and find opportunities for team members to fulfill their goals
  • Nourish a collaborative diverse environment where open and honest feedback flourishes
Required Experience:
  • Minimum 5 -7 years in designing, implementing, and supporting core infrastructure in a SaaS hybrid cloud environment
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, preferred
  • Experienced infrastructure architect with proven knowledge and experience developing converged infrastructure technology solutions consisting of Compute, Network, Storage, and Virtualization technologies
  • Experience with software engineering, scripting, automation, and orchestration tools (PowerShell, Ansible, GitHub, Terraform)
  • Experience in designing and implementing storage back-up and recovery services for converged infrastructure environments that support large-scale virtualization clusters, including cloud managed backup systems
  • Proven trouble-shooting skills
  • Familiarity with design and implementation experience of Container and Container Orchestration technologies
  • Current or past certification in any of the following technologies: Cisco, VMware, Microsoft, Vendor Agnostic, AWS

This role can be performed from any office in the US. The pay range for this position in Colorado is $130,000 - $185,000 /yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual bonus and restricted stock unit grant based on individual performance in addition to a full range of benefits outlined here.
